Maggie Siff plays doctor, pediatrics resident and Jax's high school sweetheart “Tara Knowles" on the highly acclaimed FX Network television series Sons of Anarchy.


Most recently, Maggie took the stage playing "Kate" in Arin Arbis's off-broadway production of The Taming Of The Shrew. Her other credits include a lead role in The Escort at the Geffen Playhouse, the lead in OR at the Women's Project off-Broadway in New York and Director Ethan Hawke’s Lie Of The Mind for the New Group opposite Alessandro Nivola and Josh Hamilton. Maggie has appeared in Richard Nelson's Frank's Home by Playwrights Horizons and Ruby Sunrise performed at the New York Shakespeare Festival. She received a Jefferson Award nomination for her performance in Dollhouse at the Goodman Theatre in Chicago and has also worked frequently in Philadelphia, where she won the Barrymore Award for Ghosts.


Maggie received rave reviews for her role as the Jewish department store owner, “Rachel Menken” on the award-winning acclaimed series, Mad Men. She also had a recurring guest role on the highly successful television series’ Nip/Tuck and Life On Mars as well as guest starring roles on Grey's Anatomy and Law & Order. On the big screen, Maggie has been seen opposite Edward Norton in Tim Blake Nelson's feature film, Leaves of Grass. She also appeared in Paul McGuigan's Push with Djimon Hounsou, Chris Evans and Dakota Fanning as well as Judd Apatow's Funny People with Adam Sandler.


Maggie graduated with an M.F.A. from NYU's Tisch School and B.A. from Bryn Mawr. She currently resides in Los Angeles.
